(( Good morning, guys! Wow, do I feel bad about how long it’s been since Ten’s had some time out. I’ve been mostly over with Basil whenever I get the chance to be online so that’s why I put Ten on hold. I just wanted to thank you all for the messages I got - honestly, it means a lot to me that even though I haven’t been around lately, you have faith that I’ll be back to answer them. Cause I certainly always will return, Ten will never ever be abandoned, he just comes and goes as he pleases is all.
So, now that I’m on I might start trying to answer a few things. I took a hiatus over on Basil’s a week ago because I fell ill and unfortunately I still am sick so my focus isn’t at full capacity. But who knows, maybe I’ll surprise myself! We’ll see. :) Thanks again, much love. Ten says hello to everyone and hopes you’re all well and invites you to stop by the TARDIS and say hi anytime. <3 ))
(( This is from yesterday morning, but I wanted to reblog for the evening crowd just in case. This is what’s going on! I’m still taking small steps but I hope to get back on my threads soon. Thank you all for putting up with me. :) ))
(( I think they’re canon because the things we see happen to the Doctor in the show isn’t the only or even the main things he experiences, it’s just like a glimpse; the books and comics help fill in a little more of the many gaps. I count the things that I read as part of Ten’s memories, like in an ask earlier I actually referenced something that happened in one of the books. (Now of course, if I read something I don’t like I may choose to ignore it, but that’s a risk all material goes under no matter what form of media it comes in. As a fandom we are subject to the writers to choose what becomes canon. But I trust the BBC to choose good stuff to publish as official DW stories, so I’m only mentioning this as a side comment just in case.) ))
(( I actually would count them as being separate. The different adaptations all come with their own story and many differences from each other that would make it possible to RP with them without having problems of overlapping; each Sherlock, for example, is really his own person. So for Ten it’s a very simple matter of meeting these various Sherlocks and etc in parallel universes. :) As for the OUAT situation I’m not sure I understand exactly what you mean, but I’ll point out that, say, an OUAT Belle would be different than a Disney Belle to me. ))
“Of course! There are a lot of very peaceful nations that have no intention of leaving their borders… though unfortunately those planets often get targeted by those that are hostile. There are some that are so safe, with so little danger on them that I could walk out the TARDIS door and leave it unlocked and sleep right on the ground with no worries. There’s this one teeny tiny planet, very Earth-like in it’s terms of atmosphere, with great mountains, and these very small tribes of even smaller aliens live there almost like, uhm- oh what do you call them- like monasteries! There we go, they remind me a lot of the humans on Earth that live like that. It’s a very quiet, serene planet, very friendly and hospitable to any visitors. Luckily for them no ones been interested in conquering such a small, uneven planet so they’ve been left well enough alone.”

“Oh yes! It’s designed to be flown by six people, after all. And besides that she’s really got a mind of her own and likes to take me to places I don’t always intend to go to. Not very reliable, ey? Not to mention that even though the TARDIS is very advanced technology there are certain things that can interfere with it and throw it off course, ‘cause she’s connected right to the Time Vortex and can get hit by anything else going through or around it. Or, for example, this one time I materialized for a split second in an area and BAM, she shut right down and locked her doors due to this electromagnetic pulse surrounding the perimeter of this town and shutting down all it’s technology. I ended up staying there and helping out, long story, but see there I was thrown off course! I’ve learned to just sorta… go with it, I suppose.” -grins-

“Doo doo doo, dooooooo doo doo….”

“Aw, c’mere!”
